Ingredients
Scale
- 12 soft Hawaiian rolls or slider buns
- 8 slices of crispy bacon, chopped
- 8 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: chopped chives or green onions for garnish
- Butter or cooking spray for greasing the baking dish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Set aside.
- Cook the bacon slices in a skillet until crispy. Remove, drain on paper towels, and chop into small pieces.
- Slice the slider buns in half horizontally. Spread a little butter or spray the bottom part of the buns for extra flavor.
- Layer the chopped bacon evenly on the bottom buns, then pour the egg mixture over the bacon. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Cover with the top buns.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
- Place the assembled sliders in the dish, then cover with aluminum foil. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and the eggs are set.
- Remove from oven and let sit for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon or substitute with sautéed vegetables or plant-based bacon.
- Use different cheeses like pepper Jack or Swiss for variation.
- Reheat leftovers in the microwave or oven for best results.
- Add toppings like sliced tomatoes, spinach, or avocado for extra flavor and nutrition.
