  • Total Time: 30-35 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 soft Hawaiian rolls or slider buns
  • 8 slices of crispy bacon, chopped
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: chopped chives or green onions for garnish
  • Butter or cooking spray for greasing the baking dish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Cook the bacon slices in a skillet until crispy. Remove, drain on paper towels, and chop into small pieces.
  3. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally. Spread a little butter or spray the bottom part of the buns for extra flavor.
  4. Layer the chopped bacon evenly on the bottom buns, then pour the egg mixture over the bacon. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Cover with the top buns.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  7. Place the assembled sliders in the dish, then cover with aluminum foil. Bake for about 20-25 minutes until the cheese is melted and the eggs are set.
  8. Remove from oven and let sit for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon or substitute with sautéed vegetables or plant-based bacon.
  • Use different cheeses like pepper Jack or Swiss for variation.
  • Reheat leftovers in the microwave or oven for best results.
  • Add toppings like sliced tomatoes, spinach, or avocado for extra flavor and nutrition.
