Instructions

- Add melted butter and milk to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined to form the batter.
- Pour the fruit mixture into a baking dish and spread evenly.
- Drop spoonfuls of batter over the fruit, covering as much as possible.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
