- 1 lb boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and sauté onions until translucent.
- Add garlic and ginger; cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in tomato sauce, spices, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes to blend flavors.
- Return chicken to the skillet, stirring to coat with the sauce.
- Add heavy cream and cook for another 5 minutes until creamy and heated through.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with steamed rice or naan.
Notes
- You can substitute chicken with paneer or vegetables for a vegetarian version.
