- 200g ground pork or chicken
- 1 cup chopped cabbage
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, grated
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 20 store-bought or homemade gyoza wrappers
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mix ground meat, cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl to make filling.
- Place a small spoonful of filling in each gyoza wrapper and seal edges tightly.
- Bring broth to a boil in a large pot.
- Add gyoza carefully and cook until they float and are cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions and chopped nori.
Notes
Use fresh gyoza wrappers for best texture. You can also freeze uncooked gyoza for later use.
