- 4 boneless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup whiskey
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown, about 6-8 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until translucent, about 3 minutes.
- Pour in whiskey, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Cook until reduced by half, about 4 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and Dijon mustard, stirring until sauce thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
- Return chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over, and simmer for 5 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

- Use good quality whiskey for richer flavor.
