Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika (optional, for spice)
- Fresh parsley or chives for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare the ingredients by slicing the smoked sausage, peeling and dicing the potatoes, and measuring the seasonings and cheese.
- In a large bowl, combine sour cream, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix until smooth. Toss the diced potatoes in the mixture until well coated.
- Grease a baking dish with olive oil. Spread the seasoned potatoes evenly in the dish. Layer smoked sausage slices over the potatoes. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly and golden. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for a crispy top if desired.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or chives. Serve hot with your favorite sides such as salads or vegetables. Enjoy your hearty cheesy ranch potato and sausage bake!
