  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional, for spice)
  • Fresh parsley or chives for garnish

  2. In a large bowl, combine sour cream, ranch seasoning mix, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix until smooth. Toss the diced potatoes in the mixture until well coated.
  3. Grease a baking dish with olive oil. Spread the seasoned potatoes evenly in the dish. Layer smoked sausage slices over the potatoes. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until potatoes are tender and cheese is bubbly and golden. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for a crispy top if desired.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley or chives. Serve hot with your favorite sides such as salads or vegetables. Enjoy your hearty cheesy ranch potato and sausage bake!
