Instructions

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and minced garlic. Add the activated yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape each into a round ball and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired.
