- 8 sheets of puff pastry or crescent dough
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg, beaten
- Fresh mint for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix cranberries with 2 tablespoons sugar and set aside.
- In a bowl, combine cream cheese, remaining sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread cream cheese mixture evenly over each sheet of dough.
- Spread cranberries over the cream cheese layer.
- Roll each sheet tightly and cut into 1-inch slices.
- Place slices on the prepared baking sheet, brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Garnish with fresh mint and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- You can substitute puff pastry with crescent dough for easier preparation.
- Try adding chopped walnuts for added crunch.
