- 1 pound chicken breasts, diced
- 1 package cheese tortellini (9 oz)
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Place diced chicken, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper into the crockpot. Pour in chicken broth.
- Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours until chicken is cooked through.
- Add tortellini and heavy cream to the crockpot. Stir to combine.
- Cover and cook on high for another 15-20 minutes until tortellini is tender.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
- You can swap chicken with cooked sausage or shrimp for variation.
- Add chopped spinach or sun-dried tomatoes for extra flavor.
