- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- Cinnamon sugar (1/2 cup sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon)
- Chocolate sauce for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until smooth.
- Allow to cool slightly, then beat in eggs one at a time until batter is smooth and thick.
- Spoool batter into a piping bag fitted with a large tip, pipe small strips onto prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, toss the bites in cinnamon sugar.
- Serve warm, drizzled with chocolate sauce.
