- 2 large apples, peeled and diced

- For the glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 tablespoons milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine milk, egg, and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Fold in diced apples.
- Drop spoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet and flatten slightly.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze.
- Drizzle glaze over warm fritters before serving.
Notes
- Make sure apples are evenly diced for uniform baking.
- For extra flavor, add chopped nuts or raisins to the batter.
- Serve with extra glaze or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
