Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb chicken tenders or chicken breast strips
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or olive oil for coating
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pat the chicken tenders dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Prepare three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with panko breadcrumbs mixed with parmesan if using.
- Dip each chicken tender into the flour, then into the egg, and finally coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Lightly spray the coated tenders with cooking spray or olive oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes, turning once halfway through, until golden brown and cooked through.
Notes
- For an extra crispy texture, lightly spray the tenders with additional cooking spray before baking.
- You can customize seasoning with your favorite herbs and spices for varied flavors.
- Use an air fryer for even healthier, crispier results.
