Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, pumpkin puree, milk, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Dip each bread slice into the pumpkin mixture, soaking well on both sides.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the soaked bread slices for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Serve topped with whipped cream, caramelized pecans, and a drizzle of maple syrup.

- Use thick-cut bread like brioche or Texas toast for best texture.
- To caramelize pecans, sauté with a little brown sugar and butter until crispy.
