Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225 g) spaghetti or your favorite pasta
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup (240 ml) chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Add broth and bring to a boil. Stir in pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook until sauce thickens slightly, about 2 minutes.
  4. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
