  • 1 lb (450 g) smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add sliced sausage and cook until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add red bell pepper and cook until tender.
