- 1 cup pastelina pasta or small pasta shapes
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic; cook until translucent.
- Pour in broth and bring to a boil.
- Add pasta and cook until al dente, about 8 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.

- You can substitute with vegetable broth for a vegetarian version.
