- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- For Mousse:
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
- For Ganache:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar.
- Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla. Mix until smooth.
- Fold in dry ingredients and chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let cool completely.
- Prepare mousse: Whip heavy cream with sugar until soft peaks form. Melt chocolate and fold into whipped cream. Chill until set.
- Prepare ganache: Bring heavy cream to simmer; pour over chopped chocolate. Stir until smooth. Refrigerate until slightly thickened.
- Spread mousse over cooled brownies, then top with ganache. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
