  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Peel and core the apples, then chop into small bite-sized pieces. Toss with cinnamon and a teaspoon of sugar.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, remaining sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg. In another bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually add wet ingredients to dry, stirring until smooth. Fold in the apple pieces.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes. Lightly spray the basket with non-stick spray.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the basket, leaving space between each fritter. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway until golden and crispy.
